ADVANCED SETTINGS
■
To use the REC light to record a movie
1.
In a REC mode, press [SET].
2.
Use [
S] and [T] to select the top option in the
operation panel (Recording mode).
3.
Use [
W] and [X] to select “
(Movie)” or “
(MOVIE BEST SHOT)” and then press [SET].
4.
Press [
T] (
) once.
5.
Use [
W] and [X] to select the setting you want,
and then press [SET].
6.
Press the shutter button to record the movie.
IMPORTANT!
• Never look directly into the AF assist/REC light/self-timer
lamp or point it directly into the eyes of others.
• Never point the AF assist/REC light/self-timer lamp in the
direction of a person who is operating a motor vehicle.
• The effectiveness of the REC light is reduced in the case of
faraway subjects.
• Though the REC light can be use for illumination when
shooting snapshots, the REC light does not illuminate the
subject with the same brightness as the flash.
